4 HOME IMPROVEMENT IDEAS TO CONSIDER

If you are a homeowner you may decide instead of selling up to renovate your home instead. This is a great idea if you love your home and it just needs updating or if you plan to stay in your home long term. Today I wanted to share with you 4 home improvement ideas that you may want to consider. I'm not talking about painting and decorating or those small touches but instead those big and more expensive renovations.

Here are some home improvement inspiration for if you are staying in your current home long term:

Changing your windows

New windows can dramatically change your homes appeal. Opting for double glazed PVC windows is a popular choice. This is because they aren't just easy to maintain but also energy sufficient.  There are many other designs to choose from though so its worth looking around at the different options available.

New Door/s

The front door is the first thing visitors notice and remember. So if your front door is looking a little worse for ware, and a lick of paint just won't do it then it's time to get a new front door. Or maybe you fancy having a sliding patio door to your garden/balcony or even a set of French doors installed to give you privacy between your living room and dining room? There are many great options you may want to look into.

Conservatories/extensions

If you are in the need of more living space have you considered a conservatory? I must admit a conservatory has been something that has always appealed to me. Unfortunately we don't have the space for one but if you do than it's a great way to add some extra space to your home. I love the traditional Victorian style however there many other designs to choose from.

Roofline products

Roofline products such as fascias, cladding, soffits and gutters play a vital part in protecting your homes structure. They protect your home from the weather as well as making your home look aestheticly pleasing. It's definitely worth doing your research on what you need doing and how you want it to look.
